I myself recently had the misfortune of requiring the services of a windscreen fitter. So as a lot of others do, I rang the well known Autoglass.
It didn't start well. An automated system explaining they are dealing with a high volume of enquiries, asking if I was an existing customer, asking if I had an account etc etc. Basically, if you're not commercial, there is an approximate three week waiting list. All in all, it was a total waste of my time! They are clearly not interested in small business.
So, instead, I rang an advert below, a company called Autoscreen, a great family-run business. His wife answered with a lovely telephone manner, and took my details.
She booked me in for the following day at 10am, bearing in mind that I do not have an ordinary windscreen, it has an all weather activator! Sure enough, Ian turned up at 10am prompt and by 10.50 I had a new windscreen fitted!
